Carpets are a very popular choice of flooring, especially in rooms of your house where comfort is valuable, like living spaces and bedrooms. Carpet refers to a variety of flooring where a material is either woven or tufted to a backing cloth. Carpets are available in a huge array of colours and styles to suit any design of interior decoration, as well as in a number of different types of fibre and piles. Several of the more widespread examples of fibre materials include the artificial fibres polypropylene and nylon, and the natural fibres wool, sisal, or jute. These kinds of carpet are frequently available in short or deep pile and can be produced by using a range of production methods, such as twist, Saxony, loop pile, Berber, cut and loop, or velvet. Carpets can come in patterned, plain or striped designs.
All of the diverse types of carpet are categorised according to their performance and how well they are suited to different amounts of traffic. They are generally rated to be either medium domestic, meaning bedrooms or studies, heavy domestic, specifying living and dining rooms, and very heavy domestic, suitable for utility rooms or hallways. It is always recommended to fit carpet with a layer of underlay underneath, as this can increase the look and feel of the carpet, as well as increasing its life and providing better sound and thermal insulation.

Jura is an island in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland, beside and northeast of Islay. With an area of 36,692 hectares, or 142 square miles, as well as only 196 residents recorded in the 2011 census, Jura is far more sparsely booming than Islay, as well as is just one of the least largely populated islands of Scotland: in a list of the islands of Scotland placed by size, Jura comes 8th, whereas by population it comes 31st. Jura is part of the council area of Argyll as well as Bute. The island is mountainous, bare and sterile, covered greatly by vast areas of blanket bog. The primary negotiation is the east shore town of Craighouse, which is its capital. Craighouse is house to the Jura distillery, creating Isle of Jura single malt whisky. The town is likewise home to the island’s only hotel, store and also church. Various other settlements consist of Ardfernal, Ardmenish, Inverlussa, Keils, Kinuachdrachd, Knockrome, Lagg, Leargybreck as well as Tarbert. Between Jura’s north idea and the island of Scarba exists the Gulf of Corryvreckan, where a whirlpool makes flow unsafe at certain states of the trend. The southern part of the island, from Loch Tarbert southwards, is marked a national scenic location (NSA), one of 40 such locations in Scotland, which are defined so as to recognize locations of exceptional views and also guarantee their security from unsuitable growth. The Jura NSA covers 30,317 hectares in total, consisting of 21,072 ha of land, with a further 9245 ha being aquatic (i.e. below low tide).
