Carpets are a hugely popular choice of flooring, especially in rooms of your house where comfort is valuable, like living spaces and bedrooms. Carpet refers to a variety of flooring where a material is either woven or tufted to a backing cloth. Carpets come in a wide array of colours and styles to match any style of interior decoration, as well as in many different types of fibre and piles. Some of the more prevalent types of fibre materials include the synthetic fibres polypropylene and nylon, and the natural fibres wool, sisal, or jute. These kinds of carpet are commonly available in short or deep pile and can be manufactured by using a variety of production methods, such as twist, Saxony, loop pile, Berber, cut and loop, or velvet. Carpets may be found in patterned, plain or striped designs.
All of the different kinds of carpet are categorised according to their performance and how successfully they are suited to different levels of traffic. They are generally graded to be either medium domestic, meaning bedrooms or studies, heavy domestic, specifying living and dining rooms, and very heavy domestic, suitable for utility rooms or hallways. It is always recommended to fit carpet with a layer of underlay underneath, as this will improve the appearance of the carpet, as well as increasing its life and delivering better sound and thermal insulation.

North Berwick is a seaside community as well as former royal burgh in East Lothian, Scotland. It is situated on the south coast of the Firth of Forth, approximately 20 miles (32 kilometres) east-northeast of Edinburgh. North Berwick came to be a classy holiday resort in the 19th century due to its 2 sandy bays, the East (or Milsey) Bay as well as the West Bay, and also remains to attract holidaymakers. Golf courses at the ends of each bay are open to visitors. The size as well as populace of the community stayed fairly constant up until the 1970s, at which point housebuilding began in earnest around the perimeter of the community, initially to the south (1950s– 70s), then a collection of significant expansions to the west (1980s-present) along the line of the train. There is talk of more developments focussing on “inexpensive real estate” on the south side of the town. While the population could not have really “exploded”, residence prices have. North Berwick constantly shows up on top of nationwide residence rate studies, and like-for-like prices approach Edinburgh. North Berwick was listed as the most expensive seaside community in Scotland in 2006, as well as was 2nd to St. Andrews in 2009.
