Carpets are an extremely popular choice of flooring, particularly in areas of your home where comfort is valuable, like living spaces and bedrooms. It is always recommended to install carpet with a layer of underlay underneath, as this can improve the look and feel of the carpet, as well as extending its life and providing better sound and thermal insulation.
