Although tiling is more regularly used to cover bathroom and kitchen walls, it can be a very desirable flooring option. Relatively cheap, floor tiling is available in numerous designs and styles and is suited to use in many rooms of your home. Floor tiling is usually suited for bathroom or kitchen floors as it is easy to clean and exceptionally tough, as well as being moisture proof. Floor tiles are typically produced from ceramic or porcelain, but they are available in many other choices of material such as slate, marble and limestone, each of which will have a different appearance and durability. When installing floor tiling, it is essential to ensure that the base surface is as clean and level as possible. Tiling also often needs an additional backing board to be laid on top of the pre-existing floor in order to ensure a flat finish and to maintain the lifespan of your tiles. After this extra board is installed, a layer of mortar is used to stick the tiles down, and then the gaps in between are filled with grout to seal the tiles against moisture. The installation of tiles yourself can be a difficult job which might require lots of tile cutting, and any mistakes can be extremely costly to correct or even damage your floor, so choose a specialist to fit your floor tiling. Professional tiling companies can inform you on the ideal tile to use for your room, and ensure the fitting is of a superior standard.

Daventry is a market town in Northamptonshire. It is 76.4 miles north-northwest of London and 13.9 miles west of Rugby. Sitting between 135 and 160 metres above sea level, it is surrounded by hillsides reaching heights of 225 metres. Daventry is situated on the watershed of the River Leam, which travels to the west of England, and the River Nene, which travels east. Nevertheless, there is not a river in the town and the most substantial bodies of water come from two tanks that feed the canal that swings from Watford Gap into the West Midlands through a 1.9 kilometre long Braunston Tunnel. Daventry is traditionally a rural town with a small population, having around 4000 residents in 1950. Growth came about from 1955 when British Timken, the tapered roller bearing manufacturer, built a large factory in the town. Coupled with being marked as an ‘overspill’ to settle people and industry from Birmingham in 1966 as part of an understanding with Birmingham City Council, the town proceeded to grow. There are a number housing estates, featuring Drayton, Middlemore Farm, Long Farm, Ashby Fields, Royal Oak, Timken, Stefen Hill, The Grange, The Southbrook and the Headlands. Regardless of such development, it did not reach the target population of 36000 by 1981, and the population of the town was recorded as 25026 in the 2011 Census. The modern-day property and commercial development surrounds the town’s celebrated market centre. 74 landmarks and structures in Daventry’s town centre are on the List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest led by the Church of Holy Cross at Grade I, and structures including Market Place and the Danetre Hospital Offices are Grade II listed. For all your house upgrades, make sure to make usage of dependable specialists in Daventry to make certain of quality.
