Laminate flooring is a very widely used selection of flooring because of its durability, ease of maintenance, and economical price. A relatively new addition to the market, laminate has quickly grown in popularity as a substitute for real wood or stone flooring. Laminate flooring is a type of man-made composite flooring composed of several layers, generally with a fibreboard core topped with a decorative layer featuring a printed image of the design, and then finally protected with a wear layer that protects the floor from scratches and other forms of damage. Because laminate floor incorporates a decorative layer that can incorporate any kind of image, it comes in a wide variety of different styles to mimic the looks of many other flooring materials like real wood or slate. While the majority of laminate floor includes a smooth top coating, it may also include embossed or textured effects which mimic other forms of flooring. Laminate flooring is well suited for a variety of rooms, but be cautious if you plan on fitting it in a bathroom as specific moisture proofed laminate should be used. When choosing the ideal laminate for your property, choose one with an appropriate Abrasion Class (AC) ranking, as this specificies the quantity of traffic the laminate is rated to perform well under. Laminate flooring is relatively easy to install due to its snap or click together design. However, it is often time consuming to install a huge amount of laminate, and also tricky to cut the planks to the precise dimensions, as well as difficult to ensure that the correct underlay and damp proofing is fitted to suit your house. Specialist flooring companies can advise you on the most appropriate laminate floor for your home, and ensure that it’s installed to the best quality.

The Norman castle, now little more than a mound, regulated the shortest route from Gloucester Castle to the Welsh Marches and also the Wye Valley. The town has been, in times past, an important centre of iron and coal mining, though little proof remains of this facet of the town’s background. The major historic site of the village is Ruardyn Castle, near to the parish church. In the past the village was led to as Ruardyn and also became part of Herefordshire. Nowadays the village exists inside Gloucestershire as well as becomes part of the Forest of Dean area. Like much of the surrounding location, Ruardean has traditionally been fairly inadequate; the 1831 demographics records 127 family members, with half the populace employed in agriculture and 160 people on inadequate relief.
