Although tiling is more commonly used to cover bathroom and kitchen walls, it can be a very desirable flooring option. Relatively cheap, floor tiling comes in numerous designs and styles and is suitable for use in many parts of your home. Floor tiling is generally suited for bathroom or kitchen floors as it is easy to clean and exceptionally durable, as well as being moisture proof. Floor tiles are generally manufactured from ceramic or porcelain, but they are available in many other options of material such as slate, marble and limestone, each of which will have a different appearance and durability.
When installing floor tiling, it is very important to ensure that the base surface is as clean and level as possible. Tiling also usually needs an extra backing board to be laid on top of the existing floor in order to guarantee a flat finish and to protect the lifespan of your tiles. After this additional board is installed, a layer of mortar is used to adhere the tiles down, and then the gaps in between are filled with grout to seal the tiles against moisture. The installation of tiles yourself can be a difficult job which could require lots of tile cutting, and any mistakes can be very expensive to correct or even damage your floor, so choose a specialist to fit your floor tiling. Professional tiling companies can inform you on the perfect tile to use for your room, and guarantee the fitting is of a high standard.

Llanfyllin is a little market town, neighborhood and electoral ward in a sparsely-populated location in Montgomeryshire, Powys, Wales. Llanfyllin’s population in 2011 was 1,532, of whom 34.1% can speak Welsh. Llanfyllin means church or church (llan) of St Myllin (‘m’ frequently alters to ‘f’ in Welsh). The town lies in the valley of the River Cain near the Berwyn Mountains in Montgomeryshire, 14 miles (23 kilometres) southwest of Oswestry and 15 miles (24 kilometres) from Montgomery. The River Cain is signed up with by the small River Abel in Llanfyllin (most likely named after Cain and Abel in the Bible), and twists through the valley, flowing right into the River Vyrnwy at Llansantffraid. The town lies between Shrewsbury and Bala, for a long period of time the crucial market communities in this field of Wales as well as the Welsh borders. At nearby Bodyddon there is evidence of an early British settlement. Llanfyllin might be the “Mediolanum among the Ordovices” defined in Ptolemy’s Geography (c.? advertisement 150), although others argue for Meifod or Caersws. The town is known for its holy well, Fynnon Coed y Llan. The well is committed to Saint Myllin, who is deemed to have actually baptised individuals here in the 6th century. The parish church is likewise committed to Saint Myllin. There is a practice that Saint Myllin is the Irish diocesan, Saint Mo Ling (also called Moling Luachra) (614– 697). However, this is uncertain. There is no record of Mo Ling taking a trip to Wales, and there is a custom that Myllin is buried under the altar of Llanfyllin church whereas Mo Ling is thought to have been hidden at his abbey in Ireland.
