Renovating floors may require an array of tasks, from cleaning and maintenance, repairing existing flooring or even entirely removing and replacing flooring. The type of renovation work will vary among the variety of the pre-existing floor. In older homes with period floors such as flagstone, quarry tile or parquet, renovation will generally consist of repair and cleaning of the existing floor as it will likely be an attractive element of the property. In contemporary properties with carpet or real wood flooring, restoration is more likely to require completely replacing the existing floors, either like for like employing a similar material, or by changing from one material to another. For wooden floors, the procedure of renovation often entails sanding the top layer of wood down, cleaning and then revarnishing or staining. Tile flooring can be cleaned and any broken or damaged tiles exchanged, accompanied by regrouting or resealing. For carpets, maintenance can usually only extend to cleaning of the pile, any further issues or damage will typically require replacing the carpet. Experienced floor renovation companies will be able to advise you of the best solution to breathe new life into tired floors or bring old floors up to a high standard. Specialist tools are often necessary for repairing or replacing flooring.

Boncath is a village, community and postal district in north Pembrokeshire, Wales. It is positioned about five miles (8 kilometres) west of Newcastle Emlyn. The village is positioned at a crossroad linking the close by settlements of Newchapel (Capelnewydd), Eglwyswrw, Blaenffos and Bwlchygroes. Previously a hamlet around an inn, the village developed following the coming of the railway in 1885. Boncath railway station, opened in September 1886, was a two-platform stop on the line between Crymmych Arms and Kilgerran Halt on the Whitland and Cardigan Railway, generally known as ‘Cardi Bach’. The line was closed due to the 1963 Beeching Axe and the station building was altered into a private home. The village once included three tailors, a cobbler and also a dressmaker, and in 2000 a new Community Hall was created. Cilwendeg House, described as one of the most important mansions in Pembrokeshire, dates back to the late 18th century and was constructed on the site of a former house which dates back to the 1600s. One of several features of the property is the Grade 2 listed Shell House, constructed in the late 1820s. The 21 bedroom mansion was a care home between 1952 and 2010. Nowadays, the village has a permanent resident population of 736 people. The town is served by a regular bus service. The Boncath Inn is found in the centre of the village in addition to a village shop and Post Office, as well as many small companies. The Welsh Independent Chapel at Fachendre (Fach-hendre), established in 1879, can be found to the south east of the village and is a listed building. The Community Hall, a registered charity, provides a venue that can be used for events within the local area. Cilwendeg hosted the 2013 Urdd Eisteddfod. For all your home upgrades, make certain that you pick trustworthy experts in Boncath to make sure that you get a fantastic quality service.
