Renovating floors could involve a wide range of tasks, from cleaning and maintenance, repairing existing flooring or even completely removing and replacing floors. The kind of restoration work will depend upon the kind of the present flooring. In older homes with period floors such as flagstone, quarry tile or parquet, restoration will often entail repair and cleaning of the current floor as it will likely be an appealing element of the house. In newer properties with carpet or real wood floors, restoration is more likely to require entirely exchanging the existing floors, either like for like employing a similar material, or by changing from one material to another.
For wooden flooring, the method of renovation generally consists of sanding the top layer of real wood down, cleaning and then revarnishing or staining. Tile floors can be cleaned and any broken or damaged tiles swapped out, accompanied by regrouting or resealing. For carpets, maintenance can usually only extend to cleaning of the pile, any further problems or damage will generally require replacing the carpet.
Experienced floor renovation companies can advise you of the best method to breathe new life into tired floors or bring old flooring up to a high standard. Specialist tools may also be required for repairing or replacing flooring.

East Molesey is a sizeable village in the suburban district of Molesey on the edge of Greater London in England. It lies on the southern bank of the River Thames in the northeast of the borough of Elmbridge in Surrey, extending north over the River Thames into the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. As of 1933, the Urban District of East and West Molesey became a section of the Esher Urban District, and in 1974, after the Local Government Act of 1972 entered into effect, the district merged with the Walton and Weybridge Urban District to establish the new borough of Elmbridge. The village can be located around 11.7 miles and 13.5 miles from Charing Cross and alongside the other large village, West Molesey, and it is a part of the capital’s neighboring suburbs that form the Greater London Urban Area. According to the 2011 Census, it is an area with a permanent population of around 19088. Before 1200, the names East and West Molesey were not employed, and there was only one parish based around what is known today as East Molesey. There are many options for social and leisure activities in the village. East Molesey shares a high street with West Molesey, and it even has an additional second street lined with independent and commercial chain shops and restaurants close to Hampton Court Palace. Molesey Hurst, similarly described as Hurst Park, is a considerable spot of land that is the home of East Molesey Cricket Club. It is also the location where the Hampton Ferry (London) can be caught, journeying to Hampton on the Middlesex bank. For all your house upgrades, make sure to make use of reputable contractors in East Molesey to make certain of quality.
