Carpets are an extremely popular preference of flooring, particularly in areas of your home where comfort is essential, like living rooms and bedrooms. Carpet refers to a kind of flooring where a material is either woven or tufted to a backing cloth. Carpets are available in a huge range of colours and designs to complement any type of interior decor, as well as in a number of different types of fibre and piles. Some of the more prevalent types of fibre materials include the synthetic fibres polypropylene and nylon, and the natural fibres wool, sisal, or jute. These kinds of carpet are typically available in short or deep pile and can be manufactured using a range of production methods, such as twist, Saxony, loop pile, Berber, cut and loop, or velvet. Carpets may appear in patterned, plain or striped designs.
All of these various kinds of carpet are categorised according to their performance and how successfully they are suited to different amounts of traffic. They are usually rated to be either medium domestic, meaning bedrooms or studies, heavy domestic, specifying living and dining rooms, and very heavy domestic, suitable for utility rooms or hallways. It is always recommended to install carpet with a layer of underlay underneath, as this will increase the appearance of the carpet, as well as extending its life and delivering better sound and thermal insulation.

Carrbridge is a village in Badenoch and Strathspey in the Scottish Highlands. It lies off the A9 on the A938, west of Skye of Curr, southeast of Tomatin, near Bogroy. It has the oldest rock bridge in the Highlands and also the neighboring ancient pine forest includes the Landmark Forest Adventure Park. Carrbridge has to do with 10 km (6 mi) north of Aviemore as well as forms an entrance to the Cairngorms National Forest. It was an early centre for skiing in Scotland. In the 2001 census the town had a population of 708 individuals, with the majority used in tourist. Until the 1980s bypass was built, the A9 ran right through the village. Carrbridge is offered by Carrbridge railway station on the Highland Main Line. Regional discussion still rages pertaining to the name Carrbridge itself, with some choosing to see it hyphenated to Carr-bridge. Words “Carr” has nothing to do with motorised transport but is originated from the Old Norse word for boggy area.
