Laminate flooring is a very widely used choice of flooring due to its durability, ease of maintenance, and economical price. A relatively recent addition to the market, laminate has quickly expanded in popularity as a replacement for real wood or stone flooring. Laminate flooring is a kind of artificial composite flooring made up of several layers, often with a fibreboard core topped with a decorative layer featuring a printed image of the design, and then finally covered with a wear layer that helps to protect the floor from scratches and other forms of damage.
Because laminate floor features a decorative layer that may incorporate any sort of image, it comes in a huge range of different styles to mimic the aesthetics of many other types of flooring like real wood or slate. While the majority of laminate floor features a smooth top coating, it can also include embossed or textured effects which mimic other styles of flooring. Laminate flooring is well suited for a number of rooms, but be careful if you plan on installing it in a bathroom as specific moisture proofed laminate will have to be used. When choosing the best laminate for your home, choose one with a suitable Abrasion Class (AC) ranking, as this designates the amount of traffic the laminate is ranked to perform well under.
Laminate flooring is not too difficult to install because of its snap or click together design. However, it can be time consuming to install a sizable amount of laminate, and also tricky to cut the planks to the precise dimensions, as well as difficult to ensure that the right underlay and damp proofing is installed to suit your house. Specialist flooring companies will be able to inform you on the most suitable laminate floor for your space, and ensure that it is installed to the best quality.

Bedlington is a town found in South East Northumberland, England. Previously a mining town, it’s roughly 20 miles to the north of Newcastle upon Tyne and 4.5 miles southeast of the county town of Morpeth, as well as being close to areas like Ashington, Blyth and Cramlington. The town is known most famously for giving its name to the Bedlington Terrier, a variety of dog. As recorded in the 2011 Census, the town boasts a population of roughly 18,500. Since the closure of the iron works as well as the coal mines, it is chiefly a dormitory town for all those who work within the nearby towns and cities. Bedlington Old Hall, a 15th-century building which is generally described as the most important historic building of Bedlington, was demolished in 1959 to create space for council offices. Nevertheless, numerous sites of historic significance and regional interest continue to exist . An important historic building still standing is the Anglican parish church of St. Cuthbert. It’s claimed that this dedication has been taken from an event occurring in 1069. Escaping northwards from William the Conqueror’s army, it is said that the monks of Durham laid the body of St. Cuthbert in the town’s church. Hartford Hall is also situated within the parish, along with a big amount of the riverside land between Bedlington and the Hall forms Bedlington County Park, which is a local nature reserve. Residents continue to attend a weekly market in the town on Thursdays, which is held at the market place. For all your house upgrades, be sure that you employ trusted pros in Bedlington to ensure you get the very best quality service.
