Renovating floors could require a wide range of tasks, from cleaning and maintenance, repairing existing flooring or even entirely removing and replacing floors. The type of renovation work will be based upon the kind of the current floor. In older properties with period floors such as flagstone, quarry tile or parquet, renovation is likely to include repair and cleaning of the present floor as it will likely be an attractive attribute of the property. In newer houses with carpet or wood flooring, restoration is more likely to involve totally changing the current floors, either like for like using a similar material, or by changing from one material to another. For wooden flooring, the method of restoration usually consists of sanding the top layer of hardwood down, cleaning and then revarnishing or staining. Tile floors can be cleaned and any broken or damaged tiles swapped, accompanied by regrouting or resealing. For carpets, maintenance can usually only extend to cleaning of the pile, any further problems or damage will commonly require replacing the carpet. Experienced floor renovation companies can advise you of the best solution to breathe new life into tired floors or bring old flooring up to a high standard. Specialist tools may also be necessary for repairing or replacing flooring.

South Ockendon is a small town and Church of England parish in the Thurrock district and unitary area in Essex in the East of England, United Kingdom. It is located on the boundary with Greater London, just outside the M25 motorway. The location to the north is North Ockendon. South Ockendon town ended up being an area for premade houses (prefabs) accommodating bombed-out citizens of East London/West Essex in the really late 40s. Much of the initial post-war building was carried out by previous German prisoners of war. Most of these were demolished in the late-1960s when a large Greater London Council estate, Lecaplan “concrete” construction houses– the Flowers’ Estate– was constructed to change them, once again with pre-fabricated homes, albeit of a remarkable style. The Lecaplan Type B kind of pre-cast concrete (big panel concrete) balcony is constructed in rows of 8 homes to a style by J C Tilley and also manufactured by W. & C. French. In the 1970s the Ford Motor Company factory at Aveley housed Ford’s Advanced Vehicle Operations which built vehicles such as the RS1600. The plant was unwinded gradually from the late 90’s yet shut entirely in 2004, when the last 150 tasks were shed. Most of the 150 workers accepted transfers to various other Ford or supplementary websites around Essex. The ‘Aveley’ plant was situated along and west of the railway line, adjacent to Ockendon station in the Belhus Ward that part of Ockendon has actually currently been developed into brand-new housing estates, with road names after popular Ford cars in keeping with the websites background.
