Although tiling is more generally used to protect bathroom and kitchen walls, it can be a very attractive flooring option. Relatively affordable, floor tiling comes in a wide variety of designs and styles and is well suited for use in many parts of your home. Floor tiling is most often applied to bathroom or kitchen floors as it is simple to clean and highly strong, as well as being moisture proof. Floor tiles are normally made from ceramic or porcelain, but they are available in many other options of material such as slate, marble and limestone, each of which will have a different appearance and durability.
When installing floor tiling, it is very important to ensure that the base surface is as clean and level as possible. Tiling also often requires an additional backing board to be laid on top of the existing floor to be able to guarantee a flat finish and to preserve the lifespan of your tiles. After this additional board is installed, a layer of mortar is used to adhere the tiles down, and then the gaps in between are filled with grout to seal the tiles against moisture. Fitting tiles yourself can be a difficult job which can require lots of tile cutting, and any errors can be extremely expensive to rectify or even cause damage to your floor, so choose a specialist to fit your floor tiling. Specialist tiling companies can suggest for you the ideal tile to use for your room, and guarantee the fitting is of an exceptional standard.

Boscastle is a village as well as fishing port on the north coast of Cornwall, England, UK, in the civil parish of Forrabury as well as Minster (where the 2011 Census population was included). It is 14 miles (23 kilometres) south of Bude as well as 5 miles (8 kilometres) northeast of Tintagel. The harbour is an all-natural inlet shielded by two stone harbour wall surfaces built in 1584 by Sir Richard Grenville and is the only significant harbour for 20 miles (32 kilometres) along the shore. The village expands up the valleys of the River Valency and River Jordan. Heavy rainfall on 16 August 2004 created comprehensive damages to the village. Boscastle lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The South West Coast Path passes through the village. The town, with its attractive harbour, is a preferred traveler destination. Among the tourist attractions are the Museum of Witchcraft, Uncle Paul’s Emporium, the Boscastle pottery shop, and accessibility to the South West Coast Path. Much of the land around Boscastle is possessed by the National Trust, including both sides of the harbour, Forrabury Stitches, high above the Boscastle and also split into old “stitchmeal” farming plots, and huge areas of the Valency Valley, understood for its connections to Thomas Hardy. The previous harbour stables (part of the National Trust estate) are now a youth hostel run by YHA, preferred with walkers. The National Trust runs a shop at the harbour, as well as a site visitor centre in the Old Smithy.
